Jon Dunn Joins Florachem

Florachem Corporation (Jacksonville , FL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon Dunn to direct the sales and marketing program for our Flavor & Fragrance Division.

Mr Dunn is a veteran of the Flavor and Fragrance industry with extensive domestic and international experience. After a twenty-one year career in various management and sales positions with Bush Boake Allen , he joined Polarome in 1998 as a Senior V.P. In 2006 he formed his own company Essensaroma LLC (River Vale, NJ) as a specialized ingredient supplier to the Flavor & Fragrance industry. Jon will continue to independently own and operate Essensaroma , and maintain its varied product lines.

Simone Gatto started producing citrus oils in 1926 and ever since has been recognized for producing only the finest-quality citrus oils in the world. The company has a fully automated 50,000 square-meter (535,000 square-foot) facility in San Pier Niceto, Italy, convenient to all the citrus groves in Italy. The company is still family owned and operated by the fourth generation, which adds a personal touch to every order.

We can provide samples, pricing and information on any of the products listed below. Items can also be produced to specification. For example, if the perfumer wants a product from the early part of the harvest, we can provide it. Please note that under no circumstance are any of the oils adulterated. You can be assured of the finest-quality oils available on the market today.

Privi Organics Limited is the flagship company of the fifty-year-old Satguru Group of India. Privi began producing aroma chemicals in 1992 with two products. Today the company produces over forty synthetic and natural aroma chemicals. As a result, they are now one of the largest aroma-chemical producers in India. Makhteshim Agan of North America (MANA) is a subsidiary of a large multinational corporation based in Israel. For more than ten years, the company has produced a wide range of both agricultural and aroma chemical products. Florachem offers MANA aroma chemicals that include synthetic musks used specifically in the fragrance industry.

Products are stored in North Brunswick, NJ and are typically available on a same- or next-day basis. All products are produced in Israel.

Destilaciones Bordas Chichurreta SA has been producing products for the flavor-and-fragrance industry since 1922, when Ramón Bordas started distilling and marketing Spanish essential oils. Today Bordas is one of the last family-owned essential-oil and aroma-chemical manufacturers in Spain.

Florachem is proud to be the exclusive distributor for Bordas products in the United States. Select materials are stocked in our warehouses in New Jersey, Chicago and Atlanta. Our pine-chemicals supply chain is based in the United States, Scandinavia, Brazil, Eastern Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions.

We source our flavor and fragrance ingredients from Spain, Israel, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, India and China.

Polymerized Rosin Products Added to FloraRez Line

Florachem is expanding its FloraRez line with three polymerized rosin products. These consist of rosin acids that have been partially dimerized to various degrees, yielding acid functionality with higher softening points than rosin. Non-crystallizing, these resins offer the formulator improved specific adhesion with less loss in cohesion. Applications include adhesives, inks, and coatings.
